Post High School Career: Varsity baseball at Oregon State University, 1975 and 1976; Portland State University, 1979. Taught health and physical education at Lincoln for 30 years, coached varsity baseball 20 years; varsity football 8 years; basketball assistant 7 years; assistant varsity girls basketball 10 years; varsity girls golf 1 year. PIL baseball coach of the year twice. As a coach, took elite 17-18 year-old baseball players to Australia two years, with records of 10-0 in 1987 and 9-1 in 1988. Coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball. Played on Oregon Twins baseball team that won the 1992 senior world series.
