I have had a long hard road, but I can say that I feel accomplished and content. I get to do what I love everyday and I am surrounded by the most supportive family and friends anyone could ever ask for. My journey isn't over and my support system has stayed strong through the ups and downs.

My Dad, Dennis Carline, is the Varsity Women's Basketball and JV Volleyball coach at Roosevelt. He really encouraged and pushed me to do what I never thought I could do. He molded me into an athlete, a team player, and a leader. He believed in everything I could be and never thought twice of what I could not be. Many times my Dad has gone thankless, even with his three daughters who at times had lots of attitude. All continued on to play Division 1 volleyball after high school. He coached and cared for all of his children and athletes. He is STILL coaching his heart out and creating well rounded student athletes.

My mom Debra not only took care of our family while my dad coached, but is now helping me with my family. She is always there to lend an ear and help me with my three amazing children on a daily basis. I wouldn't be able to do half of the things I do now for student athletes or my children without her. She is the best grandmother and mother I could ask for.

I'd like to thank Peter, my other half, who has been steadfast in his support for me and my dreams. I'd like to thank Amy and Rachel, Godmothers to my children. They are what best friends look like and have been there since elementary school at Trinity to the graduation at Benson. Lastly, I'd like to thank my little ones—Leila, Leslie, and Ella Ann—for being patient with mommy during the volleyball season:)
