Commentary:

Participating in athletics gave me a work ethic from which I've never fully recovered. As a former athlete and now as a lifestyle and high school coach, I'm always wondering how we can improve upon our last achievement. I am grateful for the love, support, and encouragement I was given, and now try to pay it forward with my daughters, my team and my clients.

Vocationally, I work at the Indian Health Center of Silicon Valley in the Diabetes Prevention Program and am a seasonal junior varsity water polo and sometimes swim coach at Homestead High School in Cupertino.

I am an avid sports spectator including Stanford football, basketball, water polo, swimming, local pro hockey, baseball, and football, but for myself I just swim, walk, jog and hike or do a little qi gong. I look forward to trying many new sports now that my children have left for college.
