High School Honors: 3-year Participant and 3 time PIL singles champion and 3 time State champion 1956-58.

Post High School Career: Oregon State University graduate. Taught health & physical education at Marshall High School 1964-1979 (department chair). Head tennis pro at Multnomah Athletic Club. Became a teaching professional for the Ladies Professional Golf Association at the Vanco Driving Range. Long-time friend and teaching professional Cindy Lincoln called Patty "one of the top teaching professionals in the Northwest."
