Commentary:
I am truly humbled by being inducted in to the PIL Hall of Fame. My time at Madison was some of the best years of my life, filled with many great memories. I was blessed to play with great athletes for teammates and competitors at Madison. Their hard work, competitive spirits and desire to win brought out the best in me! I am proud to continue to call them my friends, as well!
I was blessed to have so many great men as coaches during my years at Madison. Greg Shewbert, Jeff Erdman, Larry Keck, Dave Peake, and Dave Gasser were some of the best coaches around at the time. Their continued dedication to coaching has impacted so many young men throughout Portland and beyond. Their leadership on the field and in school helped influence the man I am today. They always set high standards and expectations, which I worked to live up to. I want to thank them for their guidance and continued support throughout my high school years and beyond. I am very proud to be part of the Madison High School family!
