Commentary:

(From Banquet Introduction) A beloved leader of men and a tireless deacon and servant of God were prominent aspects mentioned at the Celebration of Life Service for Michael R. Booker, Sr. June, 2019. Leadership became obvious early at Adams High School. Michael captained his Football and Basketball teams and led by example on the Track with individual high jump championships in both the PIL and State his senior year. Vocationally he was the owner-leader of Courtesy Janitorial Service and his community service is what shined brightly. Quoting the Celebration of Life tribute:

“It was God’s plan for Michael to travel the journey of addiction on a destination preparing him with the earthly task of assisting members of the recovery community to battle and overcome substance abuse. The measure of a man is not how many servants he has, but how many he serves…Michael was a true example of this law of servanthood.”
