Played minor league professional basketball and baseball before launching a 31 year coaching career in Medford schools from 1947-1978. Inducted as a charter member in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) District 2 Hall of Fame in 1960. Inducted into Benson Hall of Fame as a Charter Member in 2000.
