Commentary:

First, I’d like to thank my parents, LaHoya and Cleveland, for always being there for me. They were my biggest cheerleaders with love, support, encouragement and guidance. I’d like to thank my brother Dominicke who let me tag along with him and friends on many occasions when they played pickup games at Faubion Elementary School. A big thanks to my coach and mentor Dennis Carline, for being by my side every step of the way and never giving up on me even though I was a handful. Finally, I would also like to thank all my teammates. Playing sports has taught me to be humble, work hard, and, most importantly, teamwork.

My gratitude extends to SEI (Self Enhancement, Inc) and many other people who played important roles in my success at Benson. I was lucky enough to have some of the best coaches and teachers in my life that shared with me great wisdom and advice that I needed to succeed throughout my high school career. I’m very grateful and honored to be inducted into the PIL Hall of Fame.
