Brotherhood! That’s what brought me to Benson. That’s what pushed me to be a better athlete. That’s what pushes me to be a better Husband, Father, and Friend. A relationship with Madison Ceaser and JR Waller is the greatest trophy I have from my high school years. We challenged each other to get out of the streets, choosing instead to study or practice. In college we would rattle off our box scores like trading cards each one upping the other. After college we inspired one another to mature, develop intellectually and grow professionally. Most importantly, every day from our first breath to our last we pray for each other to be great fathers. Here’s to keeping that record undefeated fellas!

Thank you to my mom and dad, friends and family. Thank you to Coach MacKenzie for always reminding us it was about more than track. You’ve impacted generations and you’re a role model for us all. Thank you to my coaches, teammates and classmates. And to the teachers, you may not have thought I was listening, I was. From Mr. Ranta teaching us how to blow our nose. I still carry a handkerchief because details matter. To Mr. Vingelen holding me out of state because I didn’t finish that assignment. I remember to never leave a job unfinished because actions have consequences. You all shaped the man I am today. For that, THANK YOU!

Behind every great accomplishment, is a great team. I have a truly great team who challenge me, love me, and support me; My beautiful wife Amanda, daughters Devyn and Avery, and sons Isaiah, Jameson, and Maddox.
