Commentary:

Some of my best memories from high school are playing football, basketball, and running track with great friends, teammates and supportive coaches. It was a great time to be playing sports in the PIL. I had the opportunity to play with many future college athletes and compete against eventual pro athletes. One of our rivals, Benson, won the football state championship my junior year. We won Franklin football’s first playoff game at home my senior year, and my girlfriend and later wife was one of the best basketball players in the state. I am grateful for my parents and family, who were always supportive, and my Dad, arguably my number one fan.
