Commentary:
Athletics have been a big part of my life and they still are today as a personal trainer. Looking back, I remember all of the time that my parents took out of their own lives to help me succeed in whatever sport I was involved with at the time. There were numerous practices to be driven to, countless balls that were thrown, and endless words of encouragement that were said. I can only hope to pass down, to my children, the kind of support my parents showed me.
Along with my parents were a group of men that watched over me whenever I was not at home. These guys made sure that I stayed on task and out of trouble. They treated me as one of their own and I couldn’t be more thankful. I wouldn’t be who I am today without all of these people in my life over the years. Thank you so much Coach Lex, Tango, Holte, and Coach Mac.
