US Naval Academy, football 2 years (injury ended career); set Plebe records in shot & discus; varsity record in shot won Penn Relays shot put. Graduated U. of Oregon, ’63; Dental School, 1967. Assoc. Prof. Of Dentistry University of Western Australia, 1979-83; professor of the year twice. Family dentistry in Southern Oregon,1983-1997.
Commentary:
Athletics presented me with many opportunities for which I am very grateful. The University of Oregon Track and Football program gave me the financial aid to achieve an education. For this I have eternal gratitude. The friends and mentors from athletic days are a gift that has lasted a lifetime.
