Commentary:

As a father of 8, I’ve come to understand the selflessness and patience it takes to parent a child who is always asking for something. This made me respect my parents more, because I was one of those children. All the tournaments—local, regional and national—could not have been done without the unconditional love and support of my family, Parents Charlotte & Duane Brown and my sister Margot Brown-Amii. Thank you for making the sacrifices and always being my biggest fan base.

Roy Pittman, my Wrestling Coach/Mentor/Life Coach, taught me to respect all and fear none, on the mat and off. Respect the sport and life; respect everyone even if you disagree with their views/opinions. Do not be scared to respectfully speak your mind and have courageous conversations. Do not be scared to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Be you, you’re the only you.

Thank you PIL HOF for this induction.
