Commentary:
Growing up in Portland, soccer was the framework for how I approached life. It’s provided me countless memories, experiences, and everlasting relationships from youth soccer through college. My love for the game, competition, and winning drove me every day during my playing “career” but as I reflect on my experience, what really sticks with me are the many coaches and teammates who shaped me as a player, person, and leader. I’m forever grateful to the people who made my journey possible and carry those lessons and experiences with me into every aspect of my life.
