Commentary:
Through athletics I have learned many lessons: work ethic, mental toughness, the ability to set and achieve goals, to believe in your self and your team mates, leadership and teamwork. None of the things that I have achieved in my life would have been possible if it were not for my incredible mom and dad, Beverly and Bill Miller. Their support, love, coaching and work ethic have always been a huge part of my success on and off the field.
I would like to thank Mike Clopton and Jim McDickens for the impact they have had on my life. They are both great coaches, great men, and the best coaches (besides my dad) I ever had the pleasure to play for. Also, I would like to thank the PIL Hall of Fame Induction committee for selecting me as an inductee. What a great honor!
