Commentary:
It’s an honor to be recognized for the Portland Interscholastic League Hall of Fame. Coming from a family of athletes, we often competed with each other, always pushing to be the best. My biggest fan and inspiration was my mother. She was always there, encouraging me, in sports and life. She always taught the importance of finishing something you started and to give one hundred percent. It was her positive support that made me the athlete that I was and the man I am today.
