3 Track & Field letters. Won events in high jump, long jump and 440 in City Relays and long jump and high jump in State Relays.
Received Hopkin Jenkins Award for top Senior athlete.
Post High School Career: Received academic scholarship to Willamette University, but joined the Army for three years and finished as a Sergeant. Earned business degree from Portland State University, 1960. Was fireman for five years in Portland FD Engine #3. Became Senior VP, Executive VP, and President/CEO of First Farwest Insurance for 15 years. On the Board at the Multnomah Athletic Club for four years and served as President in 1985. Worked with MAC Athletic Director to assist in 20 national tournaments leading up to MAC’s Centennial Celebration in 1995. Finished career as a Business Consultant for 10 years.
