Commentary:
I am humbled and honored to enter the PIL Athletic Hall of Fame. Sports have been one of the biggest parts of my life. In my years at Jefferson I had such meaningful and enjoyable experiences which helped shape the high school teacher, coach, and athletic director that I became. I would like to recognize my varsity coaches Billie Frasier, Bobby Harris, Pete Ness, and Claude Bonfiglio who were not only great leaders but also great role models and great human beings. I’d also like to thank and acknowledge all of my teammates and teachers who made my time at Jeff so special. The teams I played on had their share of victories and accomplishments. However, what I remember most about being at Jefferson is the relationships with my teammates and coaches and what a great time I had when I was a Democrat.
