Commentary:
From the time I was eight years old sitting on the bench as a bat boy for Interstate Little League, yearning to be out on the field playing baseball, to the time I was in High School, it was always instilled in me to by father, Bob, and mother, Dolores, “you play with heart and you don’t quit.”
I am proud of my accomplishments while playing sports at Jefferson. I made a lot of friends that I still consider friends and family today. I reflect on the coaches who taught me the fundamentals of sports, which in turn, taught me the fundamentals in life.
I am very fortunate to have played with a great supporting cast in both football and baseball. It is an honor and a privilege to be included in the Hall of Fame with these athletes. I am humbled to have played for the Blue and Gold. Lastly, to my family, I am truly grateful for all your support: I love you all.
