Sports have always been an important part of my life. I’ve had many experiences and learned a lot of life lessons. I’ve learned the value of competition and hard work. I also learned the importance of team work and what it takes to work with others in order to achieve a common goal. I have valued the lessons and knowledge I’ve acquired from coaches and teammates throughout my life. I’ve shared them and try to instill their value in my own family and those I’ve had the pleasure to encounter.
My parents were my biggest inspiration and support. They encouraged me to participate in sports and they supported me throughout all my athletic endeavors. Without them and their desire for me to reach all my life goals, academically and athletically, would not have been possible.
