Commentary:

Looking back, sports have always played a major role in my life, and I am profoundly grateful for the opportunities that have come my way. Nearly every valuable life lesson I’ve learned has emerged from my experiences in sports—lessons like how to handle failure, receive constructive feedback, succeed with grace, be a supportive teammate and friend, manage time effectively, take care of my body, and lead with integrity. I feel incredibly fortunate to have gained these insights early on, and I am deeply appreciative of everyone who has supported and encouraged my growth.
I want to extend a special thank you to my family, who have always pushed me to become a better version of myself; to my coaches, who went above and beyond to provide me with the best competition and guidance; and to the PIL, for its unwavering commitment to equal opportunity. My time at Lincoln will forever hold a cherished place as some of the most formative years of my life. I eagerly anticipate watching how the PIL continues to transform and enrich the lives of many more individuals.
