Commentary:

What a true honor this is to be nominated and inducted into the PIL HOF. Being remembered after so many years passed is a true blessing. My time at Madison HS was filled with amazing memories and so many great lessons that I’ve been able to utilize throughout my life. The continuous encouragement that I received from my family, coaches and friends was the driving force that gave me the confidence to never give up and to follow my dreams. I would have never made it to where I am today without my competitive drive and I owe a lot of that to my Madison life. My competitiveness is not always a good thing. My friends often tell me they don’t like to play games with me because I’m so competitive….so I let them win every now and then. Thank you to the coaches and players for helping instill that in me. A few names to mention and I apologize if I have left out any are Herb Osaki, Pam Yoder, Jerry Schloss, Jeff Erdman, Dave Peak, Dave Gasser and Tom Hinton.

Also, a special thank you to my parents for providing me the opportunity to play sports and who never missed a game. They would have given their last penny to see me play. They showed me the true meaning of love and support and for that, I am truly grateful. Thank you and I love you!
