Commentary:

It is an honor to be recognized alongside the incredible group of athletes in the PIL Hall of Fame. I grew up going to Gasser Camps and looking up to the Senator greats … Brian Thomas, Kent Bottenfield, John Blair and more. It is a privilege to have been coached and mentored by Madison coaching legends Dave Gasser, Jeff Erdman and Brian Crook, to name a few. These men gave 100% of themselves and taught us not only the sport, but teamwork, integrity, dedication, loyalty, and the value of hard work. Having been coached by them has shaped who I am as a person, husband, father, and friend.

Looking back, it’s amazing to realize all the life lessons we learned while we thought we were just playing ball. I am forever grateful for my time at Madison. I would also like to thank my parents, Terry & Leigh for always supporting me and the program. I am extremely honored to have been a part of the Madison baseball program and to be included in the PIL Hall of Fame.
