Commentary:
Part of life should be exploring and finding something you really thrive in and enjoy. When I was growing up my Dad introduced me to sports in a way that excited me and motivated me to want to participate. I realized early on that In order to participate, I’d better find what I liked and get good at it. My Dad let me know in the 7th grade it could pay for my college education. I liked the idea of getting paid for having fun and I went for it. While I was in college I used the same concept to find my career path in real estate and used what I learned in sports to get good at that.
I’ve always suggested people choose to believe… unbelief is a lousy way to go.
My Dad told me early on when you have a coach who believes in you, and knows what he’s doing, and he tells you to run through a brick wall… start running!
