American Legion, ’68 and ’69; Connie Mack ’70, NW regional champions, competed in World Series in New Mexico, named to All-Star team with .636 batting average. 1-year letter winner in basketball.
Post High School Career: University of Portland, 4-year baseball letter winner, MVP in ’73; co-captain; individual home-run record, 2 years, career home run record. Played for City League Portland Lobos, Regional Casey Stengel Champions, l974; 2nd place in regionals, 1975. Heads his own company, Mobes Business Forms, Inc.
Commentary:
Athletic competition through the PIL has affected my entire life. It has provided me with the drive to succeed in business and life. Hopefully, some of those lessons have been passed along to my children, helping them to reach their own desires.
