Commentary:
My love of all sports continues to this day. I give particular credit to my football coach Nate Jones, baseball coach Stan Bozich, and basketball coach (and family friend) Maurice "Mo" Caba for my life-long skill and enjoyment of each of these sports. Coach Caba was a Roosevelt athlete/alum, elementary teacher and retired Portland Public School administrator. He was my eighth grade baseball and basketball coach and my first athletic role-model. I consider sports to be the first application of everything I learned in the classroom.
Thanks to all connected with the PIL, for the time, friendships, and memories the PIL gave me!
