Commentary:

(From Mike Doherty, Matt’s high school coach). I was 25 and a first-year coach when Matt Jones was on my first team. Matt Jones was one the most coachable and most aggressive players I ever coached. He was always focused in practices as well as games. He gave his best every day. He was a coach’s dream, a quiet young man, but he certainly led by example. He impacted my life as a coach and teacher in many ways.
