The PIL Hall of Fame will enrich the positive learning environment of athletic programs through these specific promotions and events:
- Fall Induction Banquet
Honors past, present, and new members of the PIL Hall of Fame for their accomplishments and contributions to the PIL, with a recognition dinner drawing 500-600 people. This event is usually held each October. The ceremony to honor the 2023 inductees will be held Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Lloyd Center. More Info.
- Fall Fund-Raising Golf Tournament
Held annually in the fall as a fundraising event to support the Hall of Fame operating budget, our events, scholarships, participation fee support, and the PIL athletic department financial priorities. The 2024 event will be held Monday, September 9, 2024, at Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora, Oregon. More Info.

NEW! The Denny Sullivan Scholarship Award was established in 2022 to honor Denny “Sully” Sullivan, Track and Field coach at Grant High School from the early 1950s to his final season, 1962. During his tenure, his teams had five consecutive years of undefeated dual meets, several city relay and city track and field championships, and the state championship in 1961. Sully’s track teams were the best in the history of Grant high school at that time.

- Celebration of Champions This spring event recognized the PIL team and individual League Champions, outstanding male and female athletes of each PIL high school for their successful athletic, academic, and sportsmanship during their senior year. Coaches were also recognized at this well-attended event. The event was held each May at the Tiger Woods Center on the Nike Campus. (This event is currently on hold.) - PIL HOF Annual Meeting
For the Board of Directors. This year’s meeting date is yet to be determined, but is usually scheduled in early December at the PIL Athletic Department Office on the Marshall Campus.
