Commentary

I joined the Cleveland cross country team not expecting too much. As an underclassman, the main thing I enjoyed about the sport was spending time with my teammates. I can't believe where this sport has been able to take me since. It evolved into a lifelong passion, first as an athlete, and now as a coach. It's amazing to be inducted into the PIL hall of fame, especially alongside my teammate Howard Lao, and more than anything this honor has helped me reflect on all the important teammates and coaches throughout my career that made this journey possible. I still wish I would've won that state cross country championship though.
