4 track & field letters: PIL champion, 100m high hurdles (14.7), as a sophomore. State champion, 100m high hurdles (14.83), as a senior. Place 2nd in high hurdles to world champion in All-Comers Indoor Meet as a senior.
Post-High School Career
Attended Mt. Hood Community College, 1977. Truck driver for 25 years.
Commentary
Family is such an important part of all aspects of my life -- remembering my mom always there to share pie and special moments with me, my dad never missing a game, my brother, Robin, always there to help me work on improving my time and form. Now to the present day where I am the proud father of four and grandfather of two. My life reflects many struggles that with God’s grace I not only accept responsibility for but am appreciative of the time I have to share with others. God is good.
