Commentary:
This is truly an honor and to be remembered after all these years is remarkable! Spending most of your life doing something you love with a great group of people year after year, striving to be the best, was so much fun. None of this would be possible without the great coaches and teammates I was surrounded by at an early age, as well as my high school years at Madison. The confidence that inspired my competitive nature continued on at Madison. I am truly grateful to have had such wonderful, caring and positive role models as coaches at Madison. I want to thank all of the coaches in my high school career—Herb Osaki, Pam Yoder and especially Tom Hinton for putting in so many hours of hard work and dedication and believing in us. Lastly, I would like to thank my parents for being the backbone of support, love and encouragement that has carried me to where I am today.
